WIW: Tunic Edition

I picked this up at F21 a couple weeks ago thinking it was a dress...whoopsies.

I'd be showing a LOT of (white) leg if that were the case.

But the color, and gold buttons won me over despite it's in between-ness.

The seasons are starting to change, and by starting too, I mean we jumped from

the end of boots season (gosh that came and went so fast) to high seventies, overnight. 

It actually probably happened while I was in Brazil, but I am excited.

When the seasons change, it's almost like you get a whole new wardrobe.
 I keep my spring and summer clothes in the extra bedrooms closet, so I honestly don't see them for months.  Then when I rediscover them it's fun, re designing and styling the items I forgot I had.

That's what happened with these wedges.

OOTD: White Jeans and Bestie

So I've told you all about my RL bestie is over at Back East Blonde.

She's been rockin' her white jeans like it's her job because, she's not a rule breaker: i.e. She will not be wearing her white jeans after Labor Day.  

I know this is a 'life rule', BUT I feel like if it's still super hot and sunny after Labor Day, go for it!!!

I wore mine last night, BUT only have a super blurry, boyfriend please take this picture for me right now before we go out, so I can blog about it picture.

White Pants 2.0

So I have been loving my white jeans recently, remind me why I shied away from these before?

Went out to a dinner with some friends last night and had to do a quick change from work :( to play :)

Here is what I came up with:

Jeans: Express (buy here)

Shirt: Brass Plum (Nordstrom) from for-ev-er ago, I hardly wear it.

Jean Jacket: GAP from even for-ev-er-er ago (read circa 2002?)

Shoes: Steve Madden (Thanks Zappos, you rock!) Also 2 years ago

Bracelets: Black- Nordstrom Brass Plum, Bangles Forever 21 (similar here)

I guess I am really dating my wardrobe.  I swear not everything I own is that old, but I guess it was just throw back day.  Hope you all had a great Friday.  Our night ended less than seven hours ago so you know it was a success.
