If I Have To Go To Work Today...and A Give Away For You

As much as I love my job, Mondays aren't my favorite day of the week. But lets be honest anyone who actually likes Mondays either works in the food/bar industry and Monday is the beginning of their weekend or they are a stay at home Mom (because the kids go back to school).  Just kidding on that second one, kind of.

Anyways, if I have to go to work today...

The VMA's could have started earlier, seriously I'm a Grandma, and can't say up past 9:30 anymore.

The infamous Starbucks  PSL could be out, I know all of us bloggers have been bitten by 'the fall itch'. Anyone seen all those cute things Old Navy has out??? (Liking this and this). But seriously, PSL I'm ready for you.

Miley could have worn something half decent, and stuck her tongue out seventeen less times.  But who am I fooling, I'd trade bodies with her that crazy bitch any day.

Nordstrom could send me these, as a thanks for your continued loyalty.

I could be back on 'vacation' with my bestie. Seriously it's already been a week?

I could be hanging out with my niece, who is growing up way too fast before my eyes, or at least according to pictures and facetime.

My couch could come to the office with me.

My birthday could come and pass; being a quarter century sounds terrible.  Although in all honesty, I've never been happier, so I have nothing to be scared of.

I could have had time woken up early enough to run this morning...would it be so terrible if I ran at work?? I'll bring extra deodorant.

A Total Case of the Mondays

You know you have a case of the Mondays when you:

Snooze the three alarms you set.

Don't go on your morning run (I should take my advice here).

Get lost while walking the dog, and have to use your iPhone to get home. 

Getting ready to go :)

Dry Shampoo your hair instead of taking a shower. (Remember when I talked about this stuff here, it's seriously the Best!!!)

Wear a dress (hello, it's one piece, no matching or thinking required).

Leave the radio on commercials when you have an awesome country mix in your CD player

 Miss type your computer password 3 times at work.

Blankly stare at a client while they are talking.

Forget to say goodbye to your coworker when they leave.

Get stuck in traffic that NEVER exists on Monday.

Run the usual route five minutes slower.

Zoey, however did NOT have the case of the Mondays.

She was ON it!

Tuesday, I'm ready to start over.

Let's make a deal.

Monday: Wants

I want this guy to be kicked off the Bachelorette tonight, even though I doubt it's going to happen.

Who likes him anyways? He seems like a scum bag.  And who would say they wouldn't like someone if they weren't so fit??? I mean it might be true, but lets not go saying it in the first few weeks of a reality TV show.

I want target to stop STEALING all my money

How did this little guy slip into the cart on Saturday???

Don't lie it's cute, and it was PERFECT for our appetizers on Sunday.

I want to have a clean bill of health at the dentist tomorrow.

I don't have time (or $) for any cavities.  

I've been cavity free for 23 years, lets keep it goin'.

I would like want Zoey to catch on to potty training sooner.
 Any advice?
I've read pretty much everything online, and have employed every single technique.
I guess I have to remember, shes only been with us for 6 nights.
Just like anything it will take time.
 But how can you not like this little one?

I want the new Emilly Giffin book to be out already.
It comes out July 24, 2012, and I pre-ordered it (here) month's ago.
Every book she writes, I LOVE.

I'm loosing patience.

I want more hours in the day.
24 is just not enough.
Let's try 30, it would make me MUCH happier!!!

I want my recent ebay goodies to arrive.
This one inspired me to try it out.
And low and behold, I 'won' two items.
