I spent the better half of last night browsing the endless pages of F21, Old Navy, and Nordstrom website. Because what else do you do when your better half is still under the weather, and in bed at 6:30 right. Totally normal.

I compiled a very thorough list of things I want need want.

Starting with this lovely sparkle top. Summer with white jeans and wedges, winter with a bondage skirt, tights and boots. Yes please.

This houndstooth sweater that looks like a socially acceptable way to wear a blanket in public and to work. Sign me up yesterday.

These leggings got five star reviews and are on sale. Um again why were these not always in style. The comfort, oh the comfort.

And wearing said leggings with this ombre top, might be the closest thing I come to ombre. Although I'd love to do  my hair, I am afraid it will look weird on my short locks? Thoughts? Regardless this shirt is spot on.

Booties for days is my motto this season. Or at least I would like to think so. I have two pair from Target, an old pair from Nordstrom and counting.  Thinking these Olive ones might be a nice addition. With jeans and a loose sweater. I die inside.

Layering up with a big jacket in the cold is also awesome. This leopard gem is no exception. Now just get in my closet.

And a stylish Thanksgiving sweater could easily double as belly cover up in style is perfection.

If I Got a Dollar for Every Mile I Ran, I'd Run More...

The other day while having a moment of 'insignificance', I decided I needed to do something that would make me feel accomplished.  So I decided I would run 'train' for a half marathon.  Although I haven't really talked about it much on this little worm hole web space of mine, I'm what some would call a freak, and what others would call a runner.  I'll take either.

I confess that I'm your weirdo that wakes up at 5am to go running or to Boot camp, and I love it.  I enjoy getting the day started, getting the work out done, and then pretending like it never even happened.  Except on days that I am so sore I can hardly get up off the toilet in which case it's hard to forget the work out, but I guess that's just too much information.

Also I'm sure I don't look like this when I run, but who does.  Oh that's right half the running I see out there who effortlessly glide, step after step making me hate them more and more as they go.  This is what I actually look like; I'm not a pretty sight before or after the run, promise.

But here's the thing, if I got a dollar for ever mile I ran, I'd be running A TON more. Just to think about all those sweet running gear I'd have, the shoes I could buy, and the purses I'd be wearing.  But then I guess I'd have to be running A LOT more than I am now.  Not quite sure how far $20 buck a week would get me.  Certainly wouldn't buy my current crushes these, these, this, and this, but I'd for sure take the extra money.


And now back to my 'need to feel accomplished', this must be a quarter century thing, heck knows I didn't feel this at 24.  So, honestly I don't know if I am going to 'train' as much as I am going to try to  run more. Mostly so I can keep accommodating all the sweets I've been eating, but also in hopes that when I actually do get around to running a half marathon (March maybe????) I'll be ready. My Mom said she'd run it with me, and if I have any hopes of beating keeping up with her, I gotta get my ass movin'.

Yup due to lack of camera energy and effort I have been spending on this little cyber space over here, I have no fabulous outfit to debut.  Which is okay, because if I were telling the truth, there were truly no fabulous outfits over the past week, because we're 'tweening. 

Tweening is that awkward time between Summer and Fall that has all us blogging ladies confused. What the heck do we wear?  Well this little list are a few of the things I've been eyeballing.  Doesn't mean any of them are going to be coming home with me any time soon. Although the vest is really yanking my chain. I am afraid Target wins every.single.last.time. Just click the link people, just do it.

As per other things happening, I'm officially on baby/bridal shower over load. Back to back baby showers this weekend and next, and then topped off by a bridal shower.  Guess it's just that time of year, although I guess your middle twenties it's like this all year long, so help me gawd.

In the meantime I'll be eating lunch with Andrea, sewing, and crafting for days.

Global Weirding

Born and raised a 'California girl', it's clear this is all I have ever known, so yesterday morning at 10am when the sky opened up in to a down pour that lasted about five minutes, it was weird. Freaky Friday weird except Freaky Labor day weird, but that doesn't sound nearly as cool without alliteration.

As the day passed and I made my rounds to Target and Old Navy (I had to get in one some of those sales) the weather was hot and muggy, East Coast style.  And then the evening concluded with some thunder and lightening and a few more spouts of rain.  Seriously what is happening?

I would think this was totally ridiculous, then it hit me. Global Weirding is in full effect. It all started with Miley last week, then I had to work all weekend, and in less then ten days I will officially be closer to 30 than twenty which is scary.

As far as my birthday list goes, I haven't even really stopped to think about it.  I still have my eyes on the Roomba, a sweeping robot, sign me up.  And while most people want it for when their babies start to crawl, I want it so I can increase my laziness and never minimize the number of times I actually have to sweep.

I have a list of a few things at Old Navy that I want (this, these, and these). But I got a coupon this weekend, $20 off of $50 so I'll be using that soon, so I think I got those covered.

Aside from that I really want to take a photography class, and hang out with all my friends.

 I also want a meal (made by my Mom) that will conclude with an apple pie.  I guess what they say is true as you get older, birthdays aren't as big of a deal.  That is until I hit thirty of course, cause we're gonna have a BIG birthday bash when that happens!!!

 Morning run, work, same lunch every day, home, walk the dog, hang out, sleep, repeat.

I would like want Zoey to catch on to potty training sooner.
 Any advice?
I've read pretty much everything online, and have employed every single technique.
I guess I have to remember, shes only been with us for 6 nights.
Just like anything it will take time.
 But how can you not like this little one?

I want the new Emilly Giffin book to be out already.
It comes out July 24, 2012, and I pre-ordered it (here) month's ago.
Every book she writes, I LOVE.

I'm loosing patience.

Weekend Wants

Here is a small (?) list of things I want.  Naturally not many will happen, but I thought I'd share them with you.

I would want it in this color, feminine and different then all my other purses.  This ones a LONG ways off, but a girl can dream right...

These fabulous wedges.  They could be work and play shoes, which are the best.  Double Dipping.  I sure wish they weren't 5'', because they'd make me 6'2'', but that's only a slight detail right?

Express always has something I could see myself wearing.  I like this dress, but already own last year's version in black.  Not sure if it's worth buying the 'newer' edition, but do love the colors.  Waiting to see if it goes on sale (40% off all dresses), as per usual.
